a brief history of this event

On a cold Saturday in November of 2004, three intrepid Navy dentists attended the Army Navy game in Philadelphia.

Struck by the awe of the event one of the dentists said, “This is awesome!” Indeed, said the second, and the third said, "brothers, what if we have a tailgate next year at the game?"

And so began the Navy Dental Corps tailgate.

We strive to make it a more memorable event each year and would like to thank those who have participated in this event through the years. We look forward to continuing this most unique Dental Corps tradition.
